September- Jeans for Genes Day
All the Rapid Team wore there Jeans on 18th September for Jeans For Genes day, we donated £10 for everyone who took part raising. Another brilliant £240! !
July- The Northcote Road Summer Fete
Working with one of our customers we donated 1000 goodie bags towards the Northcote Road, London, summer fete. Bringing another community together!
June- Cheam Fair
Something to get one of our local communities together!! Rapid Readymix very proudly sponsored one of our local community fairs through Cheam Rotary Club donating money, time and a Go Ape voucher for the winner of the stool.
June- The Emily Ash Trust
On June 27th our HR manager Helen Orth took part in the Eat Mud 7km Assault Challenge for The Emily Ash Trust on behalf of Rapid. Raising a brilliant £130. Huge well done to Helen from all of us here at Rapid!!
June- Caudwell Children, Butterfly Ball
One of our partners very generously gave an amazing £10,000 to Caudwell Children’s charity towards wheelchairs when he attended the Caudwell children’s 2015 charity Butterfly Ball!!
May-Scotty’s Little Solider
For Scotty’s Little Soldiers we teamed up with one of our local companyies, HPC Healthline and challenged them to a “Tyre Flipping Challenge”. The company that loses had to pay a fine of £10 per player to the charity, each team had 5 players. Rapid Readymix WON!! We also did a retweet donation of our photo so for every 1 retweet on twitter £1 was donated raising £110. Massive thank you to HPC Healthline for helping raise this money and doubling what we made! Great fun!
April- Red Nose Day
Fantastic results for Red Nose Day 2015 starting with playing a sweep stake between the Rapid Readymix Team with half the winnings going towards our Charity and the other half one of our team members won. Plus for every 1 retweet of our team photo on our twitter we gave £1 to The Liam Charity raising £176!! That’s 44 extra calls to children helplines!
